Hey there, witches. Last week we announced our online creative writing workshops exclusively for you. This week, we’re revealing the theme for October!
The theme for our online October Creative Writing Workshops via Zoom is: A Halloween Memory
I’m excited to get this workshop started! I think it will have everyone feeling creative and ready to reflect.
For the month of October, attendees can write poetry, nonfiction, or fiction, as long as it fits within the theme: A Halloween Memory. Write about your memories from Samhain time as a child or an adult.
The first online meeting (60 mins) will be a brainstorming and technique session. After the first meeting, you will get two weeks to work on your piece. The second meeting (60 mins) will be a reading and sharing.
As a reminder, our workshops are led by MHW Founder Amber Jord, a Creative Writing BA with a Bachelor’s Degree in English from UCF. Amber has a Community Teaching Certificate in Creative Writing from UCF for her dedication to teaching creative writing workshops in her local community.

Online Zoom Workshop Dates:
Workshop Session 1: Tuesday 10/10 and Tuesday 10/24, both from 8-9 PM ET
Workshop Session 2: Thursday 10/12 and Thursday 10/26, both from 8:30-9:30 PM ET.

Mental Health for Witches creative writing workshops will always feature themes of nature, healing, and self-discovery. Workshops are held monthly. Sometimes we will have one session, sometimes we will have two. When you register for that month’s workshop session and pay the registration fee, you get two 60-minute meetings for the price of your registration.
Workshop Fees: $25 for one (1) monthly workshop which includes two (2) 60-minute workshop meetings (2 hours total).
You will be asked to provide payment by CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle once you officially register. Amber will provide you with this info by email.
Each affordable monthly workshop offers a theme of focus that you will receive by email before you attend the first session.
